笑话的来源：前首相马哈迪称赞纳吉政府有听取民意，包括在《2011年和平集会法案》课题上聆听人民的心声，显示政府改革决心，因此，“阿拉伯之春”（Arab Spring）不会吹到马来西亚。他指出，纳吉政府在处理《2011年和平集会法案》的课题上，证明政府迅速作出调整，并聆听公众的担忧。
==〉这个政府如果真的在聆听，那么我们不会看到今天公布一项文告，明天就否定，后天因为有人反对，接下来就要成立小组检讨，然后修改，之后有。。。。。。这种行为不是俯顺民意的做法，而是不经大脑，没有认真思考，一直做试验，把人民当白老鼠/试验品看待的愚民政策。

没有问题不等于比有问题好

Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar and discussing their family problems. Shot after shot. The Indian man said to the American: "We have problem in India. We can't marry the one whom we love. You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely and domesticated girl from a village whom I haven't even met once. We call this an arranged marriage.
I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love. I told my parents that openly and now have a hell of a lot of family problems."

The American said: "Talking about love marriages, in America we can marry the one we love.
Let me tell you my story. I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated her for three years.
After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and married her, so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law. Legally now my daughter is my mother and my wife is my grandmother.
More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he is my uncle.
The situation turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son, my brother, is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grandfather and I am my own grandson.
And you say you have family problems?"

故事肯定不是要我们解决美国人如何处理他在家庭里的角色。我们可以很快体会到故事要谈的是“专制/约束”和“自主/自由”所带来的问题。犹如中国五千年信史以来推行的帝王制度和美国三百年来奉行的民主体系，孰优孰劣，不是“绝对”可以一刀切割的。廿一世纪没有一个绝对的治国方法因为民心难测。
